How do I buy a domain name to use for my business website?
Your domain name is your address on the web, it is very much like real estate. Securing your domain name is the first step. Domains can be registered at a wide number of domain registrars. You must re-register your domain every year or you could possibly loose it. You can also pre-register and pay for multiple years in advance.
For those not intimidated by managing online interfaces and doing online transactions we can recommend a good and inexpensive registrar where you can obtain your domain. We find that some of our clients are very unsure about how it all works and would rather we handle the domain purchase for them.
